Canadian Quilter is a quarterly magazine published by the Canadian Quilters’ Association. More than 20 years ago, when I first started working with the CQA, the publication was a one-colour newsletter and has since developed into a retail-style magazine, with stories from quilters across the country and around the world who share ideas, patterns, techniques, and inspiration.
The Canadian Quilter represents the grassroots of guilds across the country, as well as the work of quilting professionals and world-renowned quilt artists – Canadian and otherwise. The challenge is to meet the needs of such a varied audience and inspire quilters at all levels of ability to share their thoughts and ideas.
Leslie’s intuitive design skills are instrumental in the continued growth and success of Canadian Quilter. I value Leslie’s design innovation, but most of all, I value her ability to be constant, prolific and reliable.
